Volunteering with Timber Re-Use
Timber Re-Use offers a range of opportunities for volunteers at its Minehead premises, including learning practical woodworking skills, customer care and experience of working in a joinery workshop environment. We also welcome people who can bring other skills, such as publicity, marketing, and are willing to work as part of our team, helping at public events and with groups. Contact us for an informal chat about our current opportunities.

Targets for Trainees
Trainees and volunteers are given targets to aim towards and a daily/weekly session sheet to fill in, and receive feed back from Ian (the project manager) or the member of the team that they had been working with during the task they were set.

Volunteers at Work
All volunteers are trained to use pallet trucks and receive instruction in all aspects of Health and Safety. Volunteers produce a portfolio of their training; this can then be taken with them as part of their CV. We will provide a reference for volunteers seeking employment.
