Timber ReUse specialises in re-using timber that has been diverted from the waste stream, reducing the volume of reusable materials going into landfill.

At our retail outlet in Minehead, we sell timber and other materials such as doors and windows, for commercial and domestic uses.

We manufacture timber products to your requirements, from trade orders to smallholders, people with allotments, for gardeners and DIY enthusiasts.

We provide a machining service.

We collect unwanted quality timber that can be re-used from domestic and commercial sources. We aim to help protect and preserve the environment, help people to reduce their 'carbon footprint' by buying locally, and re-using materials that woud otherwise be headed for landfill. We provide a machining service.

We provide accredited training, work placements and work experience for local people. We run courses and events to encourage people to get involved, learn new skills and help care for the environment.

Training Facilities

 

We are now established in a well equipped workshop with excellent facilities for local people wanting to gain training, wood work skills, work experience, apprenticeships and to participate in wood work projects. We have an IT suite for courses that combine hand's-on practical wood work skills and 'desk-based' study. For details of our courses and training opportunities see News and Events
